Currently, João Batalha coordinates this programme at Lusitanos Riding Centre, where guests can enjoy the experience of riding a Lusitano horse and can do all obstacles of a Working Equitation track.

João Batalha has experience in Working Equitation and Portuguese Equitation, he competes at national level. During the programme guests have the opportunity to ride with the Portuguese Saddle and learn more about how to prepare the horses for competition.

The Working Equitation Programme starts with Dressage lessons on the beginning days. After, we introduce the obstacles track depending the evolution and level of the rider during the week.

There is a maximum of two riders per lesson, thus enabling us to fully focus on each detail and provide high-quality teaching.
